Lophocereus "Jim's Giant" spec.#2

This is the plant we will ship. 5/7/15 This is still unidentified after more than 2 decades of trying to learn its’ name. This is a truly massive plant that is about twice the size of my largest named Senitas. It comes from a single collection by Whitman Evans in northern Mexico several decades ago and has never been found again. I am so frustrated by the lack of data on this plant that we have finally began selling them at the Nursery. It blooms from the sides at almost any distance above ground. At about 6′ tall it grows longer hair like most senitas but this mature area does not produce all of the flowers as other senitas do. My largest propagator is now about 8′ tall with many impressive side branches. If you have always been looking for something truly unique, this might be your big baby.
Size: 13 inches tall. Fat!
