Opuntia species, variegated
A new variegation with a very even distribution of green on a light yellowish background. Like all variegates this is a slow grower so should be an excellent potted plant. No two look alike. I haven’t seen this plant bloom yet and don’t want to wait years before introducing it to the cactus trade. Almost devoid of spines and glochids so it is fairly easy to handle. Defintely not the familiar ‘Joseph’s Coat’ which is a variegate of Opuntia vulgaris.
